ABOUT US

We started Lil' Lentils to help create a greater sense of community for families in outer East Portland.  What started as an idea has now grown into a great project that strives to meet the diverse needs of many eastside families.

We are open to participation from everywhere and hope this turns into a way to share the things we love about our community with those who may be visiting for the first time.  For families from outer east neighborhoods, this is a gathering place and a chance to bond with fellow families, build friendships and start a movement that is a solid foundation for our children.

The series meets in the Lents Town Center, hub of a vibrant community that occupies the space from Johnson Creek to Lents Park and from Zenger Farm to 82nd Avenue. However, it serves an even larger area that reaches toward Downtown Portland and Gateway, to the top of Mount Scott , deep into Pleasant Valley, Happy Valley and beyond. The historic farm-to-market artery of Foster Road places Lents Town Center squarely in the center of a natural marketshed, and Crossroads Plaza at SE 92nd and Foster marks the heart of this market area.

If you haven't yet visited Lents, please come see us soon!
